A short list of things that feel worth knowing about this week.

WATCH
Remarkably Bright Creatures, Netflix
The adaptation of this bestselling novel has just landed on Netflix and is already becoming one of those word-of-mouth watches people immediately recommend to each other.
The story lifts the lid on loneliness, following a friendship between a grieving woman, a lost man and a giant Pacific octopus at an aquarium. It’s funny, comforting, and unexpectedly emotional, all in one less than two hour film.

DO
Go for ice cream
The weather for the bank holiday this weekend is looking good, and when that happens, one of our favourite things to do is to centre an entire day around ice cream. Pick a spot with something a bit more unique, and then enjoy a gentle wander around the area, ice cream in hand.
A few worth knowing:
Mobberley Ice Cream Co for proper farm shop energy (save with your Mothershift membership!)
Milk Maids for nostalgic, over-the-top flavours
Jersey Girls for fresh flavours made from milk from their own Jersey cows
